How do I uninstall the Directv Player on a Mac (Mountain Lion)? The player is not in the Application folder or the plugins folder. Also, it is not listed as an extension in Safari. Thanks.
I can't speak for Mac but on my Windows computer the Directv Player is listed under Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> Directv Player. If you cannot see the program anywhere maybe it isn't installed on your Mac?
I'm running into this same issue. Did you ever figure this out? I can't get it working at all on Mavericks and I just want it off my system.
Open a FINDER window, then on the MENU BAR, click on GO while holding the OPTION key. this will display your LIBRARY and click on it. Now find "internet plug ins" and delete "PlayerPlugin.bundle"
Thank you! They couldn't have named it something with DirecTV in the name ... grrr. For the command line dudes...
rm -rf ~/Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/PlayerPlugin.bundle
You are welcome
