No receiver decas!!!!toooooo!!!!

danieldv6
Somedoby knows if broadband decas may work like a receiver decas..warehouse is out of receiver decas and somebody said that a broadband deca  can be used instead with a two way splitter but I was unable to make this work

The two DECAs are identical electrically, so there's no reason it shouldn't work.

Cable from the main splitter to the Input of the 1x2; one splitter ouput to the receiver, the other output to the BB DECA; Ethernet from the DECA to the receiver. The BB DECA will also need to use the power supply since it isn't powered by the receiver in this configuration.

The line from the 2way to the receiver would also need a BS Filter in this configuration.

Sorry, I forgot about the BSF. Since there's no DECA inline with the receiver it needs a BSF to keep the DECA signals out.

I use BSFs as tiny cool looking jumpers...........like on the back of mods.....it beats the heck out of taking 2 mins to make a jumper and they come with weather boots on them as well !!!   Also if you screw 5 of them together in a line....it REALLY starts stopping bands then....you just don't know

Ah, but without the SWiM LNBs and/or HD receivers, you don't need any decas.  See problem solved.  Tongue out
