I signed up several months ago for $30 off for 12 months loyalty offer for our Entertainment TV package.  It doesn't end until September 18, 2023 since it started September 18, 2022.  For the past 2-3 months my bill has not been showing the deduction of this Loyalty Offer.  I have been charged the full amount.  This is not acceptable.  I don't know if I can continue to be a customer if these things keep happening.  If it was up to me, we wouldn't even have Direct TV but my husband likes it.  Since I pay the bill I was happy with the loyalty offer.  Please follow through on your Loyalty offer like I was told.

Since this is a public forum full of customers, we would be unable to assist unfortunately.

However, the best way to try to renew that loyalty offer is by calling DIRECTV (number in my greeting below) and saying ‘cancel’ to the robot to be sent to the loyalty/retention department. There, an agent should be able to renew your loyalty discount. If not, do not be suprised as DIRECTV itself is bleeding customers now that streaming has become more attractive and more people are starting to get a more reliable internet connection.

Look at the prior bills. Does it show the discount counting down as you expect, such as $30 off for 12, 1 of 12 (2 of 12, 3 of 12, etc.)? Just to be sure if that discount was actually for 12 months or not. If no countdown shows, then it was a one-time credit by the agent (not attached to any promotion).

If it was counting down, but stopped before it verified completed, did you make any changes? (package change, opt out of or declined autopay, suspended service, etc.)? Just to see if something stopped it early.

Otherwise, call DriecTV and discuss the specifics of the special. We cannot follow through with any special as we are customers like you. This is not official support.
