Sure. They're separate services, so you could even have both.
If you've had DirecTV move than 2-years and haven't upgraded any equipment in that time, then you can cancel DirecTV with no early termination fees. Call DirecTV at 1 800 531 5000 and say "cancel" at the voice prompt. To subscribe to DirecTV Now you can do that online at www.directvnow.com
