No, you cannot cancel online. They want you to call so they can try to change your mind.

Call DirecTV at 1 800 531 5000 and say "cancel" at the voice prompt to connect with a retention specialist. Be polite and firm if you truly want to cancel. They will tell you if your equipment needs to be returned or not. Older equipment doesn't need to be returned. Newer equipment is returned by taking to a FedEx or UPS Shipping Center, along with your account number. They'll box it and return. Be sure to get tracking info.

I moved months ago and returned my equipment. They put my account on hold apparently and are now billing me $181 for service and equipment I don't have. i cant cancel online and cant get through on the phone. There are no contact email options and chat doesn‘t work. Help!
