Canceled Service and no refund.

I just canceled my Directv account after the bill was automatically paid 4 days ago through July 20th.  The representative that I spoke with said no refund was due to me and the account and service would be active until July 20th.  Ok Directv, you just go ahead and keep that money but let me promise you one thing that I will never ever consider Directv service again.

DirecTV does no pro-rate your final bill. 

If your billing cycle ends on 7/20 and you cancel on 7/2, you are responsible for that billing cycle but you do have service through that date.

Like many other companies, Directv does not prorate your final bill. You pay for and get service for the balance of your billing cycle.
