Disable satellite discount.

I'm disabled and received food stamps, SSI, and SSDI that my only income and it is $820.00 a month. I was looking for satellite tv that I can get either free or discount. I pay $700 a month rent and just got out of the hospital awhile back from pnuemonccal meningitis with sepsis, life support, stroke, renal failure, life support, coma, bleeding on the brain and five additional surgeries in one week so I can't afford a high satellite or cable bill.

Pay TV is luxury entertainment service, not a necessity for life. As such there are no programs to give it a disabled or low income discount, and certainly not free.

If you want free TV the option is to plug in a regular over-the-air (OTA) antenna and watch whatever locals you can get. No monthly bill, just one-time cost of the antenna.

Sorry but Directv does not offer any kind of low income discount. I doubt any tv provider does.

Hello. I think you must consider the EBB Program of AT&T. That would be a great help for you and since you have a food stamp already then there's a big chance that you can get the eligibility for this program.
To inquire or apply, you can call their hotline: 833.511.0311

Those only apply to internet services not DTV and most likely you will have limited downloadable GB caps that will limit any streaming TV providers.
