i do not want paperless billing

how can i opt out of att sending me these paperless billing emails?

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

Start or stop paperless billing

First, sign in and verify your info.  Then, choose Sign up or Cancel paperless billing.

oh i know where its at.  every time i get an email about it i go check the settings.

just to make sure its not an auto switch email

 

until att/directv gets it act together and can generate a receipt for the auto bill, i  will never do paperless mailing.

yes they have sent them before. i was shocked when i got it.  after a couple of months it stopped.

then returned, and stopped once more, never to be seen again

Yeah the computer system in charge of the receipts became self aware back in 2013 and soon after committed suicide. They actually did a story one it..

but i really don't see what the issue would be with a receipt. 

if they can generate a bill. a receipt shouldn't be that difficult.

Welcome @mdram4x4 to the customer to customer community forum. We are all customers on here with the few exceptions of "employees" who visit and answer questions on their own time. No one here has access to your billing or account.

 

Please call 1800.531.5000 and during the voice prompt say "BILLING" or visit https://www.att.com/contactus/index/digitaltv.html?tab=2 and wait for the site to load then click the BLUE "Chat Available" button and wait for a CSR.

How do I get back to paperless on our bills quickly?  I need to change all of my AT&T payments.  How do I do that quickly?

I'm out of room on my credit cards and need to go wireless.  This process is taking much longer than I expected.  Should I change from AT&T to another carrier?  How do I get this done without it taking a day our of my schedule.  The Pandemic hasn't been good to me.
