MLB Extra Innings

This subscription is not working for me on any of the “700” channels. Worked fine last season! What is error 721?

Error 721 means not subscribed and usually says that on the screen. Log into your account and verify that you have MLB Extra Innings to begin with.

Check to see if the team is on your RSN. www.directv.com/rsn

Beyond that verify against any local channels for your area (even if DirecTV doesn't provide them) to see if they got rights to a specific game.

Fox and ESPN have certain rights for Saturday/Sunday games, if you are referring to an issue over the weekend.

New this season is MLB has an agreement with Apple TV+ that gets rights to certain games as well. As there has been a number of posts with concerns about MLB games unavailable, I wonder if it is because of this adding to the blackouts (and any possible technical difficulties upon launch).

If you run into this again, I would try normal troubleshooting such as a red button reset or even refreshing authorizations ( www.directv.com/refresh ) as well as verifying specific game availability/blackouts.

Help, I have reset remotes no answer to this.

when no mlb extra innings I could shift by using arrow on remote to listen to what’s shown. I cannot do that and onky have audio access to first channel in upper left. Any suggestions??
