Only if you want local channels, but DTV is shutting down the SD channels in April that will make HD the only game in town and the only HD dish for boats I know of is the Intellian S6HD at $9000. There is the stationary SWM dish on a sled/tripod mount on a non moving dock and aim it yourself for $200.
