Transfered to 12 different people, hung up on and I'm fed up!
I was promised 2 gift cards for enrolling in directv service and was told I'd receive an email on how to get them. 4 months later, no gift cards and I called "customer care". What a joke!
I was transferred 11 times, spoke with 12 separate people and informed by both the rewards department and customer care that "they couldn't help me, the other department can."
My account has been noted by the rewards department that my gift cards were legitimate and one was being sent but the other one, for $125 was not now available through them at NO FAULT OF MINE. THEY WERE TRANSFERRING ME TO CUSTOMER CARE TO HAVE THAT AMOUNT CREDITED TO MY DIRECTV ACCOUNT.
I have now had two directv "customer care" agents, one

Were you offered a DIRECTV Reward? Wondering how to redeem it?
Did you get Internet service?
You may need to redeem your Internet Reward here.

Why didn't I receive a Reward?

Emily, agent ES174T, lied to me repeatedly, promised a supervisor would call me "within an hour" and hung up one me. No call and it's 7 days later.
Today, Nika, who refused to give me and agent I'd said she was transferring me to a supervisor, then transferred me to a line with music playing, but no one answered and there were no voice recordings for over 1 hour!
This conspiracy to prevent customer satisfaction is unforgivable in any service company.
Now my service has been disconnected, my first reward card has been cancelled and I'm telling everyone I know to change to Dish or Pioneer immediately.
