Victim of Fraud - DIRECTV 9 digit account

I was the victim of fraud. It appears a sales agent fraudulently used my information to open a DIRECTV account back in 2015. I was sent to collections for it. I have been a loyal at&t customer so this is VERY irritating. 

I recently went through the AT&T Global Fraud team & sent the proof of addresses for the dates requested. In your experiences, has this resolved the issue? Or am I better off escalating with the state AG?

We understand that dealing with fraud can be a frustrating process. It looks like you have taken the proper steps to have the issue resolved. The issue is usually resolved and escalating is not typically needed.

You work with the Global Fraud department on this issue. We are other customers so would have no idea if resolved yet or not.

Good news, it was resolved. They did the right thing. Sending the documents required was not a waste of time thankfully.
