Why did the agent not tell me I must send three months of bills to claim my $25. rebate? I

I was contacted on April 11 by Jerome Harris in reference to adding Showtime and Cinemax for an additional $13.99 for three months that I would receive a $25. rebate.  That all I had to do is go to the website "showtimeattrebate.com" to collect.  But instead the site states I must send three months of bills.  I will plan to cancel this added service on Monday, April 16, 2018.  Thank you, but no thank you.  I don't need any additional expenses.  Besides, the list of movies is the same thing over and over for both Showtime and Cinemax.  Sometimes showing the same thing at the same time.

Our apologies, for the vague information which was provided to you on the promotional pricing of Showtime and Cinemax.

I have for you though this link that will assist you in removing; it is Add or remove DIRECTV premium channel packages.   This portal gives you full control over what packages you would like to have and not have. It will also provide you with specials which are being afford.  Once arriving at the portal you have a list of icons to pick from, TAP the appropriate one and it takes you to the next portal. This screen you will be required to sign in.  The rest is step-by-step on how to add or remove.
