With all the lines tied up with Covid 19, how do I get someone to fix my bill?

I was given two incentives for resigning and they billed my account wrong. I can't get a hold of anyone to fix it.

How can I speak with someone?

Keep trying is the only answer. Many call centers are shutdown, hence the long holds with the short staffing.

Sorry there is no special way to jump the line of anyone else trying to contact them.

Not trying to jump the line, I can't believe there is not an email address.

That way they can get to when they get time.

They are built around live support, so calling or chancing the online Chat are the options. Perhaps after this situation they will reconsider email support, but if it does that will be a ways down the road.

I really do understand. I don't know how long it will be until I speak to someone. This is not perfect, in fact, it is not good, but for now, it is the only way I can document that I tried. :-)

I have no problem with "waiting my turn" but several hours on hold is not an acceptable option. They need to let you leave a call back number and call you back in the order received -- even if it's a day or two later.

Well another state is doing a home shelter order, and I am aware that state has a DirecTV call center. So if they didn't close earlier, they now have which will further affect staffing problems.

same issue here. Re-signed, bill is now wrong and due, no way to reach anyone. Tried for two hours yesterday across multiple numbers and auto attendant prompts. As mentioned, no chat available

@skeeterintexas Chat is not available currently.... not able to click or find in right hand corner as the site says. No email address and held on phone line for over an hour. I understand it is a hard time for everyone but with all this time on my hands I noticed my bill has been incorrect since December when I canceled 2 extra channels. They only cancelled one. Your company needs an email. I have had this problem even before COVID so this is not unusual. Please pass this information up to corporate. Makes me want to switch back to Dish

@Pleaseanswer1 I saw the chat 'bubble' pop up yesterday which surprised me.

Don't mess with old people.  The older we get, the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent.

Hey @penright1,

Our wait times are delayed because of recent events. A recommendation, to verify if the account has the discounts, is to sign in to your account at www.att.com. Promotions will be listed there but it can take 2-3 months for the bill to reflect.

Is there a way to request a service request other than calling? I’ve tried a few different times while waiting for 2-3 hours and I’m never able to get through. I got a new roof and need my dish re-aligned. Thanks!

@ATTHelpForums@trittschuh12 I did, that is where I saw that it is wrong. There is no place that I saw to get it fixed there.

My hope is when the when all this settles then we can sort it out and DirectTV will make it right.

I feel for those who have a service issue, for example, @trittschuh12
