4k genie and non 4k tv

I have a genie c61k-700 receiver and a non 4k tv. I have had them successfully connected through a marantz av receiver since 2015. However my marantz is in for repair as I am unable to connect the genie directly to my non 4k tv. The message I get is "this tv input does not support directv 4k service. If the tv has multiple HDMI ports, please try another."

Any suggestions?

I have tried all of the HDMI ports on the non 4k tv and it does not connect.

You have a C61K mini and of course you will that message on a non 4K TV as none of the HDMI ports support 4K, I believe if you uncheck 4K on the mini it will go away. DTV is not suppose to provide a C61K mini for a non 4K TV.

How do i change/uncheck the mini genie from HD to SD?  Is this done at the genie box itself?  I appreciate that you took time to respond to my issue.  TU!
