Adding TV Service to another building on my property

Good Morning:

Years ago, I had added another tv service on a building on my property (same address).  A 2nd satellite dish and receive was added.  I only paid an additional $7.00 to my existing account.  Is this a service that is stilled offered?

Thank You

Yes, as long as it is the same address as your property, DIRECTV should be able to do it for only the additional $7.00 charge of the TV access fee. The only thing you should know is that you need a standalone receiver for that building. You won’t be able to use any Genie clients. Unless, of course, you use a wireless Genie mini. However, that defeats the whole purpose of having a satellite dish on the building. Also, a wireless Genie mini only has a limit of 80ft or so.

When asking DIRECTV about this, be sure to request the H24 or H25 receiver (depending on stock) so that the technician won’t arrive unprepared with the wrong equipment.
