Amazon or Netflix with Genie receivers?
The house we purchased has an A/V cabinet that services 7 old Plasma RGB televisions with in wall cableing. Our new tv service is Direct TV DVR . Internet is CableOne feeding a Lynksys router. Their a 4 tv's on wireless genies not using the old cables. Is there a way to connect the internet to the router and then to the DTV DVR so we can view Amazon or Netflix on the remote wireless genie tv's? Thanks

There is no way to watch Netflix or Amazon via any DIRECTV receivers.

I take it that these 7 year old plasmas are wired only early smart tvs? Didn't know those existed back then. Or are you using some sort of boxes to provide Netflix/Amazon streaming? Short answer to your question, your wireless genies cannot piggy-back an internet connection, if that is what you're asking, and Netflix/Amazon are not on the wireless genies as apps either....
