Avalanche game suddenly not recording

I have all of the Colorado Avalanche  games set to record in advance. They always record on the local (altitude TV) station.  Tonight, inexplicably, the receiver decided to attempt to record the game from the Dallas affiliate,  which I do not have access to.  Of course, this is caused quite a bit of consternation.
