Background of guide and menu screen is just logos

I can't see the menu or guide screen. There is no background just a bunch of tv channel logos. Constant problems with Directv only had the service 3 weeks but had 2 guys come out and now this. So dumb!

Try resetting your DVR/Receiver using the red button near the access card.

I have done that. I have called support to many times pretty fed up with the "reset your receiver" line. I have done this seems like everyday because something new is wrong everyday. This is not how I want to watch tv. Pay good money to watch this tv, not be a technician.
