Only the receiver and its access card if not a mini, power cords/bricks. You own the remotes but if you want to give them back you can. Take the DTV receiver to the nearest UPS/Fed Ex store and your account info. Only the HR44/54 Genie and the HS17 Genie2 and the C41/51/61 minis are returnable.

The H25 is also returnable, being SWM-only like all "Genie" boxes. As of last confirmed, other returnable models are the 2nd/3rd generation Genie (HR44/HR54, and revised HR5R1), Genie-2 (HS17) and 2nd generation Mini Genie Client and up (C41, C41W, C51, C61, C61K, C61W).

If you are over 10 miles away from a participating shipper (FedEx or UPS Store), then DirecTV should use the old process of sending you a prepaid return kit to your physical service address by FedEx which you return by USPS (regular mail, not UPS).

There is question if the HR44 and C41 are still returnable as another poster got an email this month saying they didn't have to return those models. So it is possible they have just became non-returnable. I would still try to return to be on the safe side.

With the new method of taking to a shipper, make sure to get receipt showing they took possession of the boxes.
