Direct Tv equipment
We currently have Direct TV. We are about to buy a new house. How does that transition of equipment work if we decide to stay with Direct TV? Do we just get new equipment or do we need to take what we have? Satellites, etc..

DirecTV has a program just for folks like you. Take your existing equipment and they'll set up a dish at your new house ....

What equipment models do you currently have?
If it's older non-HiDef stuff, this would be a good opportunity to upgrade, too.

Depends on how long you've been a customer. See the details at the link I've posted.

I need 2 new remote controls, cannot find the heading for the method of ordering them online on the website. It tells me to got to My At&T and login, then go to TV Equipment and service, which I can't find, when I search for it , it shows a bunch on other stuff that gets me nowhere, ARGGGHHHHHH

Remotes are cheaper online.

@BROBERTS43
AT&T is still moving functionality from the legacy DirecTV website. So ordering options are not fully (if at all) available at this time.
As @shannon02 was pointing out, it is cheaper to find through an online retailer (Amazon, etc.) instead of the $15 for directly through DirecTV itself. I suspect this is because of being a bulk distributer set for online shopping to be the norm.
