Gemini remote
Can I use 2 Gemini remotes for one Gemini receiver in the same room? One for me and one for my wife.

Yes, definitely. Recordings are encrypted to the access card and receiver ID that originally recorded them. Thus, recordings cannot be transferred from old receiver to new receiver. In fact, they can’t be transferred over at all as stated.

If you have the Genie 2 with the Genie minis and switch to Gemini, you will have your recordings still there... I will let you know after this weekend as I'm upgrading to the Gemini

So long as the main Genie is not replaced the recordings will remain as the minis don't have a hard drive to record on or have tuners.
