Guide on DVR shows "Title Not Available" or "To Be Announced"

My DVR has been showing "Title Not Available" on some channels.  I have tried to reboot it but it still is having the same problem.  Can you tell me why

Rebooting will cause guide data to be flushed and everything needs to start over. If you aren’t receiving guide data at all, eventually your receiver should show a message saying something like “no guide data received for over 4 hours, ...”. If you haven’t seen such a message, the best thing to do is just be patient.

Your signal maybe to low to receive the guide data.

How would you check to see if the signal is low?  Why all of a sudden
