How do I remove an HD H21/200 receiver from Whole Home network?

I would like to remove one of my HD receivers from my Whole Home network.  The receiver has the Cable/Ethernet splitter (not sure what it's called) attached to the back.  I think I read somewhere that you unplug the splitter, plug the cable from the dish directly into the back, then reset the receiver.  However, there are 3 reset options in the settings menu:

     1) Restart Receiver     2) Reset Defaults     3) Reset Everything

If you remove the DECA you will need a BSF.  Leave the DECA in place but just remove the ethernet cable from the DECA and receiver

Just remove the item you are calling a splitter no need to reset anything

Agreed! It's called a receiver DECA. Remove it and you are done.

I assume a BSF is a type of filter.  Where can I find one?

If I remove the DECA and insert a BSF, should I do one of the receiver resets (Reset Everything? Reset Defaults?) to completely get rid of the Whole Home settings on the receiver?

Thanks

no, by removing the ethernet cable, the WHDVR function will cease working
