Interference Issue?

I have 2 C41-100 model receivers in 2 separate bedrooms that are next to each other in my house.  Whenever both are plugged in, one will not work.  Is this an interference issue?  If yes, how would I resolve that?

Thank you.

Remove the power cord from one of the C41s, then on the one that is ON, with remote in hand press and hold MUTE and ENTER for a few seconds.  Now reverse this for the second C41

Besides those 2 C41s, do you have any more C41s?

No, just an HR44-700 as my main receiver in the living room

So what do you mean by "won't work? What actually happens?
