Mobile app for Android shows receiver control not connected to internet

Please explain how my receiver HR54 is currently connected to the internet wirelessly, yet the app cannot detect that it is connected and it is grayed out under receiver control?

I've authorized everything in Whole Home and my connection is active according to the Run Speed Test.

Hello @tivo44 , thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Have you tried uninstalling and installing the app again? It always help to refresh the app and make sure it has the latest update.

We can also refresh your DIRECTV service and equipment as a troubleshooting. After that, let's connect the Genie receiver to internet and try the app again.

After uninstalling and reinstalling the mobile app twice, the app now appears to be working properly and my receiver is shown as connected now. Hopefully it holds.
