Have HDMI cable connected and power on direct tv box. Cannot get a signal to Sanyo HDMI tv
If it says "No Signal" then the most common issue is the TV is not tuned into the right INPUT (some call it SOURCE). So change your TV's input to HDMI-1, HDMI-2, etc. that your DirecTV box is plugged into. Remember when TV is plugged in for the first time, or had a power outage, when it comes on it is defaulted to the ANT input.
However, if that is not the issue.
What model is the DirecTV box?
Is it plugged into the TV directly or bridged through a HDMI splitter or other device?
Verify the HDMI cord is secure on both ends and free of debris.
Do a red button reset.
Try a different HDMI port on the TV as well as another HDMI cord if you have one.
Swap with another DirecTV box to see if the problem stays at the TV or follows the box.
Just because you connected the HDMI cable to the TV and receiver doesn't mean the TV is on that HDMI input you have to actually put the tv on that particular input using the TV remote. It's not rocket science 🤦
I have tried all of the above and still NO SIGNAL. Cable to HDMI Genie box from Direct TV, HDMI from Genie to splitter in then HDMI from splitters out 1 and 2 to both TVs. No dice :( Checked all connections, all inputs, called DirecTV and they told me that they don't support splitters but to check on Forums on line, so here I am! HELP! THANKS!
