Sound loss

Since friday(update to hd receiver) we experience sound loss every 10 minutes or so for about a minute. Why is this happening? I' m not going to put up with this much longer, I'll move to a different provider.

Suggest you try this - Menu -Setting Display audio - Turn Dolby OFF and see if that changes anything -is it on every channel? if that does fix i or change anything thing Since you Receiver just udated - I suggest - From the menu Do a Search - "TYPE" Clearmybox in the search window and then select search all - your receiver will restart. See if that doesn't help?
