sound lost after viewing guide

The TV is connected to the mini genie via HDMI. No sound bar. we use the TV speakers. When viewing the guide and going to a program the sound cuts out. The only fix is to reboot the mini genie. We just bought a new TV and this one does it also. So the TV is not the issue. We have a second unit in the bedroom, with the TV that was on the mini that looses sound, and there are no issues with that one. Our whole system was installed at the same time by an ATT installer.

Try disabling Dolby Digital in the Mini's Audio Setup Menu.

dolby digital was already disabled

i have to change channels and the sound comes back on. I then can go back to the original channel.
