That usually means you have an SD receiver that are now obsolete when DTV finishes shutting down the MPEG2 channels.

No HDMI indicates you have an obsolete setup. DirecTV is shutting down the MPEG-2/SD-only feeds which renders old boxes as bricks.

To be sure what are the models of each box you have?

Most TVs have connectors for composite video - look in your TV manual. But the other postrs are correct, you should be replacing your receiveer (aand dish probably ) with an HD setup. Call directv and ask about the MPEG2 swap.

Did you look at receivers, Clients, or server towers? There are different lines of boxes. Depends on what you have now on what the options would be.

Certainly go where fits you best. But if you post back the models, we can give relevant information so you can make an informed decision.
