Will my box work .7 miles from a dish?

No. The C41W is not a DirecTV Receiver. It's a "slave" (client) to your main Genie DVR. The C41W is a boat anchor without a connection to your main Genie.  And the wireless signal only reaches about 50 feet in the best of cases.
