Directv streaming device and Netflix

When viewing Netflix shows on the Directv streaming box, there is video information being displayed in the upper left corner. It’s the elapsed time, video rate and language. Does anyone know how to remove it? I have a Roku stick on another TV and this doesn’t happen on it so it is definitely something with the Directv streaming box.

Thanks @detuch254  for the quick response. I figured it out. On the Directv stream remote, the dash button (under the #7 button) clears it.

Usually, this issue would be fixed by clicking the ‘Info’ button on the remote. Essentially, first pressing ‘Info’ triggers Netflix to show this at the top left corner. Removing it requires pressing the INFO button again. However, since this is a DIRECTV STREAM box and remote, you can try reinstalling the Netflix application.

Go to Settings. Select Accessibility and choose VoiceOver. Turn VoiceOver / Magnifier ON or OFF.

Removing recently watched shows from your device can certainly be important. It's my pleasure to help. There's no way to remove them; however, you can definitely hide the shows. To do this, you would go to Menu > Settings > Help > Whole-home > External device > recently watched > change to "hide on the receiver".

Hope This Works,

Peter
