Santa Cruz ABC Black Screen/Freeze Frame

Freeze frame and intermittent signal for ABC in Northern CA for about 3 weeks now.  Picture clear for 1-2 minutes and then freeze frame/black screen for 5 seconds. Repeats every 1-2 minutes.   No sign of repair per 2 phone calls to Technical support???

News Mix channel change stuck

Lost even transponders overnight

Tuesday night we lost many channels. Running the tests on our HR20 and our old RCA receiver (DRD430RG) it appears we are missing many even-numbered transponders on sat 101. For these tests I connected the units directly to the LNB (no switch boxes). Any suggestions on how to fix it?Test 1: HR20 700

directtv reciever blue light

hi,on my reciever, when i record a timer program, the blue light goes on [ on the reciever] but when the program is over, the light stays on and i have to manually turn it off.why doesn't it go off automatically, like it went on ??thanks, john

internal temp

My unit was running about 127deg on average, not enclosed, I had a comp cooling fan so I set it on top of dvr, exhaust side up, the temp went down to 77deg. I don't think you can run these units too cool, I may be mistaken, any thoughts from the more knowledgeable crowd? Thanks, John
