I noticed last night and it has continued to today, that probably half of my recordings have disappeared.  No one has access to my dvr or direct tv other than me so I am very confused and very frustrated.

How do I determine what show was played at 4:00 to 5:00 Eastern Time today?

When I go into the apps option in direcTV and select Weather I get the message "Failed to get city". It then goes to the weather channel weather. I prefer the weather I get from the app itself. It has been this way for a few weeks now. Anyone know if this is being worked on or if something is wrong

I have a directv box. It is silver colored. It says HD DIRECTV on it, and it is connected to dolby digital in some way. It used to work, but it's been a few years, I don't have a manual, and I am confused. It is plugged into things in the wall and stuff. There is a directv access card inside of it. 

If I buy a Genie Mini Client from Amazon as an additional Mini for another room, must I still sign a two year contract for just that mini?  My current contract expires in 3 months and do not want to sign a new agreement for just 1 mini.
