App cutting out on Samsung tv

On a Samsung Series 9 tv the app is dropping out  tv goes black 10 seconds and app restarts. Network good at 250 mbps steady.

just started recently after using for 2+ yrs.? Tried removing and reinstalling. reboot router  doesnt happen with 2 LG tvs on same network?

Your Samsung and LG are apples and oranges here.  The LG TV's don't have an app, so you must be using some sort of streaming device (DIRECTV box, Fire TV, Roku, Chromecast, AppleTV,  etc.) with it.  If you were using such a streaming device with your Samsung, you'd probably not be having issues with it, either.

You're not the only one reporting issues with the client on the Samsung TV.

Seems to be a common issue with the Samsung App. Hopefully Samsung and DirecTV will fix it, eventually. In the meantime, you'll have better experience with a streaming box (DirecTV Stream, Roku, etc.).
