App is constantly buffering
The app seems to be constantly buffering during programs. I'm trying to watch the Dolphins game on CBS, and the app is buffering. When it returns, the program is in Spanish. This happened last night while watching the Heat on a different channel. It buffers during other programs. It is very annoying. We are constantly going to the Guide Menu and going back to the channel.

Not at all in the minority. The only reason that they are posts here are they have problems. No one in a forum would post successful results. It could be your CBS broadcast not mine. I have a different network. If you are having buffering the there is some congestion taking place on the data delivery in your environment or data path. It's not the app.

I think you’re over complicating this. So there is a data delivery problem, but somehow only 1 app on the entire firestick is affected by it? Every single app other than DTV work fine. The DTV app streams fine on my iPad in the same environment, so why is there no data delivery problem with that? I just don’t want to watch TV on my iPad all of the time. So the only difference is the Amazon DTV app. Obviously there is some nuance causing it to fail. I’m glad it works for you, but it doesn’t work for me and many others. I’m not going to troubleshoot back technology any further, especially with many other options out there. Bottom line: it’s an awful service.

But different apps use different backbones and data paths. Multi-stream appd are quiet different in data delivery then single stream services like Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, etc. No way to compare the services to each other.

The only thing I and most people care about is what works and what doesn’t. Hulu live TV and YouTube TV are both multi-stream and multi-channel services that work fine in my environment. They and DTV provide a similar service, so sorry they are competitors and will always be compared in the market. According to your logic, if one light fixture in my entire home doesn’t work, but all of the others work, then the electrical wiring should be redone as opposed to fixing or replacing the faulty light. Let’s just agree to disagree on this one.

Agree but it's a different light fixture so replace it. But its not the app (wiring).

No blockers, No VPN, I just reinstalled windows 10 from a USB stick (from Microsoft website. )to see if that would help and no dice. I have not tried incognito mode yet. I will try now.

Incognito or private would be the first thing to test.
