Direct TV App is not working on my Samsung TU7000 tv

I had AT&T TV and it worked on my TV fine. I cancelled the subscription because I didn’t use it enough. I decided I wanted it back but saw it moved to DirectTV stream. I downloaded the APP on my TV and it loads but it just goes to a black screen. I don’t pay $70 a month to not be able to watch.

This is the same TV that it worked on earlier?  Do you know if the firmware on the TV updated at any point?

As far as we can tell, there are no functional differences between the various AT&T TV apps and the matching DIRECTV STREAM apps - they just changed names and logos.  So the problem might be the installation.  Have you tried deleting the app and reloading it?
