Direct TV streaming stalls intermittenty

I'm using the Samsung DirectTV Stream app Version 3.21.29101 on a Q90T UHD Smart TV with Google Fiber internet service (1 Gb) and a Cat5 cable connection.   The streaming is interrupted briefly every 10-15 minutes for a few seconds which is very annoying.  This is not happening with any other streaming services on this TV (e.g. youtube TV, netflix, Apple+, etc.)

Any advice on how to fix this service problem before I quite my subscription?

Easy fix. Get a stream box.

Known issue been reported 100's of times. The app for Samsung has been an issue since conception. Use an external streaming device like others if you want to still use the service.

Thanks for info!   Sounds like either DIRECTV management/staff don't follow this discussion group or they don't care to fix or withdraw apps that don't work properly.     FYI, I called their support line and they had no knowledge of any problems with this app.
