DIRECTV STREAM Will Raise its Price in April

It's unusual to see two price increases in such a short time period. 

No kidding. Guess we will be paying for NewsMax now or maybe not.

"Newsmax will return to DirecTV's packages at no additional cost. Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed."

Everything I can find is all about the raise that's already happened. Is there going to be more ?

This one is taking place in April. I thought the last one was in Feb.

Don't know. But 2 months apart would be close don't you think. Maybe because of this But I doubt it.

Mine just went from $90 to $109 this is starting to stink. If they would just let me design my own package I would only need about 20 channels maybe.

April?  I started paying $74.99 for the Entertainment Package since FEB.

There is the annual price adjustment that takes effect in January. Depending on our billing dates we see that on either the January or Februrary bill.

What is starting in April is unique and outside the norm. This seems to be a rare overhaul. We shall see how it goes.

How ironic that directv is increasing their prices when I've had nothing but trouble the entire time I've had them. At least 3-4 times a week, one of my TV's just "stops" and the NO NETWORK is displayed. I can unplug the TV as well as the black box and often it still doesn't work until it's set for several hours. That said, when this happens, the other TV, my computer, my phone (with directv) work fine. There is no rhyme or reason to why it does this. I've called multiple times and of course nothing helps. Directv is by far the WORSE TV service I have EVER had in 40+ years!!! They could care less about any problems, that's for sure.

If you are not satisfied, there are plenty of options available. No one is forcing you to stay with any service.

I'm told I am still under contract. 

DirecTV Stream has no contract. The service is month to month prepaid service.

Does anyone know what the price increase is going to be for Directv Stream subscribers ? I can't make any sense out of the info I am finding.  Are we going to Satellite prices and no increase in channels ? Are we going to be just increased and No increase in channels to match satellite ? Just a straight $5.00 a month or what ?

Our customers will not be experiencing two price increases. A small group of customers who signed up for DIRECTV STREAM between December 15, 2022 and January 21, 2023, did not have their prices raised in January. Those customers will now see a monthly price increase of $4-$10 depending on package. DIRECTV
