DirecTv Streaming Cloud DVR

We have just switched to DirecTv Streaming and added Internet to our cabin with the plan to be able to stream our service both at home and at our cabin - which is about 135 miles North.  I can watch live TV fine but not access our Cloud DVR via the app.  I get a message that they are working on that function.  Reading some online threads it sounds like maybe it work previously but now discontinued??  I was wondering if I bought a 2nd Gemini Air for the cabin would I be able to access my DVR content when at the cabin/2nd home?

I am finding confusion info and it is great that I can stream live TV but I really am looking for the same viewing experience when I am at either the house or the cabin.

What device are you using on the TV with the message?

Currently, using Chrome cast.  Question is spending $120 on Gemini Air will that fix the issue.

Until you find out the cause for you getting that message, it is hard to answer your question. I just connected my Chromecast to my TV, and it plays my cloud DVR things fine.

Have you unplugged and restarted your Chromecast again?
Make sure your Chromecast and DirecTV software/apps are up to date.
If you have a Smart TV try installing the DirecTV app and see if the DVR function of the app works, on it.

What happens if you use the DirecTV Stream App on your smartphone or tablet?  Or PC's web browser?

Luo-do. Are you using Chromecast at your house or second location?  It works on my phone at the cabin, message says it doesn't cast but they are working on that functionality, or some close to that.

Got ahold of yec support last night, they said Chromecast doesn't support this feature and using it in general can reduce Video quality.  Recommended Roku, Firestick, Air Stick , or Gemini Air.  Bought a Roku off Amazon and will see next weekend.

I use my Chromecast Device while traveling. Currently at our second home and it is connected to my Samsung TV, and plays My Library videos OK. I set it up at home but don't remember if I tried to view anything from My Library.

I am a little confused as it sounds a little like you are casting from a phone to a TV, but you said your device was a Chromecast, which is a Google device. Are you using a Chromecast device or casting from a phone to a TV?
