Fox News

Why do I have to click on screen to watch Fox News?

Let me clarify by saying that while watching Fox News, a dialogue covers the screen and says you have to click on "Watch" to continue watching. This is the only channel on Direct Streaming, that I've seen, that requires an action by the viewer to continue watching. is Direct Streaming trying to protect me from harmful content?

@hoosiergogh

That is from the satellite end of DTV. You will see it when the app doesn't have any interaction for 4 hrs. It is a piece of code that should be removed.

I am watching on a Roku device. This dialogue appears after 10-15 minutes of viewing. Not 4 hours.

Thanks for the confirmation @hoosiergogh.

Have you tried using a different device? This is to check if this is happening exclusively with your Roku device.
