Network Connection

I am streaming with AppleTV and DirecTV Stream. Every time I leave the AppleTV app and later come back to re-load the software, I get a message telling me that it is "having diffculty finding my network connection". The only way to work around this is to "Restart" the AppleTV though the System Preferences in AppleTV or pull the plug out of the AppleTV box and then plug back in. I am currently using a direct ethernet cable connection to my network. Is there a way to fix this issue?

Is this only happening with the DirecTV Stream App?

Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the DirecTV Stream App?

Yes, it is only happening with the DirecTV Stream App. I have not tried deleting the app and reinstalling it. I will try that. Thanks.

To add onto what @litzdog911 stated, how are your internet upload and download speeds? Run a speed test (speedtest.net) and report back your speeds. Sometimes, poor internet speeds result in unreliable streaming of live TV. Also, what specific Apple TV model do you have?
