No surround sound with streaming

I recently migrated from satellite to streaming I did nothing to change my soundbar surround sound system I always had surround sound with satellite but I only get sound out of the center speaker with streaming why would that be?

Hi @Mary_Payan, Thanks for reaching us.

To fix the issues with your sound bar, you can try setting it up again and make sure that other devices are not connected or interfering with the signal.

Please follow the next steps:

1. Open DIRECTV STREAM on your TV device.
2. Choose Settings and the system.
3. Select Remote & devices, then program your remote.
4. Choose the TV manufacturer or sound bar you want to add.
5. Follow the prompts to finish up.
