DirecTv app recording not working

I've had this app through every version. Recording from the app works 10-20% of the time. It's annoying. With the new app, as soon as I push record, the screen pops up with "confirm", "options", or "cancel". Then the whole app freezes and you can't pick anything. Its frustrating. Was hoping the new app FINALLY helped me out on this. Anyone else having this issue?

Are you a DirecTV Satellite or DirecTV Stream customer? You posted in the DirecTV Stream forum. 

What app are you using? On what device?

Satellite? Then you are in the wrong forum. Moving to DirecTV.

The DirecTV App for satellite customers is new and still very buggy. Keep using the old App if you can.
