Directv for Business iPad remote

I have used the Directv app as a remote for 30+ receivers at two different businesses and it is very unstable.  When trying to use the app as a remote it will act like it is trying to load the various receivers but keeps spinning while trying to load.  I have resolved this issue in the past by deleting the app and reloading.  The frequency of having to do this has increased to a point where we are not using the app and using the handheld remote to change each receiver.  Also, when reloading the app the TV names are lost on the app and I ma forced to rename each by using the receiver id.  There is no way with a business account to change receiver names online that I can find.

I am setting up the iPad version of DirecTv for business and have 8 receivers. All 8 are connected to the internet and all 8 can be controlled via the top right drop down menu and remote icon, however only 6 are showing in the home screen. This is an issue that I can’t seem to find a fix for. Also only the 6 that show on the home screen show on the receiver control section so I can’t rename the other two receivers. How can I get this fixed? The local tech advised me to contact directv, who at this point, have been unhelpful

iOS 17 was just released today, so the DirecTV App might not be compatible yet. Give it a few days.
