My directv pauses about every 2-3 minutes. It is not raining or is it windy. Please advise.

Hi @Iroseboro! I understand you had issues with connectivity. I know that this is not ideal but I want to let you know that I'm here to help. The good news is we will actually have a few methods we can try for helping with service. The first will be resetting the connection by unplugging the receiver for 5-10 minutes and then replugging it back in. This will force the receiver to establish new connections and can help take care of intermittent signal drops.
The next step will be to go through our Troubleshoot and Resolve tool. This tool will take you step by step to resolve most issues. In addition, you can also go directly to directv.com/refresh to ensure your box is up to date. If this doesn't fix the issue you are experiencing, please let us know.Sam, AT&T Community Specialist
I have 2 genie mini's and one genie. Any recorded shows and live tv freezes up constantly to the point it is unwatchable. I have tried all of the troubleshooting steps that have been mentioned in the forums but the problem still persists. I need to either have this fixed permanently or cancel my directv account.

I'm having this same problem too. I've even did a hard reset on my genie. I'm about ready to cancel my direct tv.
I’m having same problem as well, all my signals and cables are perfect, obviously this is a Directv problem and it’s annoying when support thinks they can fix the problem by resetting a receiver, it would be more productive to admit there’s a problem and fix it.
I'm having similar problems. The two tv's attached to my mini genie's lag and the audio and video do not sync up. I can't even scroll through the guide. I have gone through the website and reset the receivers and went through the troubleshooting. nothing has helped. any chance i could get some technical assistance with this?
I have the same problem. I am done. Looking for a different company to go through. It cost way to much not to watch what you want!
I have the same problem on both receivers. Also I get a beeping sound when it begins to freeze.
I am having the same issue also. It seems numerous people are complaining but nothing is being done. I cannot watch a show without it freezing or watch a show I DVR. If this isn't going to be fixed soon I may just stream online. At least I can watch an entire show.

I’m having the same problem. Going to call them for the 3rd time in last month. Next call will be to cancel.
Frustrating that i have to wait two weeks just to have a tech replace a defective box. Find some better manufacture for yout recievers or im going back to cable...

I’m having the same problem. Genie keeps freezing often while watching live tv and not recording it.
I've been having this same issue for quite sometime now. Doesn't matter if it's live or recorded. Just when it gets to a good part of a show it will freeze, sometimes for several minutes. Tonight is the worst, trying to watch recorded "48 Hours" 8 minutes into the program it freezes, had to Fast Forward until 34 minutes into the show. Normally it will unfreeze 2-3 minutes they (can give a lot of details in 1 minute let alone 2-3) might as well give up on half the program!!! Funny part is... I PAY FOR THIS SERVICE EVERY MONTH ON TIME.... otherwise you can guarantee they would turn this lousy service OFF!!!!! 😮
Just spent from March thru September trying to get AT&T to fix my internet, also pay for that on time every month and didnt have service over half the time. After 8 service techs, they finally sent a senior tech (#9) that put in a little footwork and FOUND the problem. Took me from June to September to get a months credit for part of the amount of time that I was without service after lowering my speed and increasing my bill without my permission or knowledge to get the credit they promised. Wonder how long or if this will get addressed. They gotcha where I live and they know it.
