Hi @dstefane,
I am sorry to hear of the issues with accessing DiscoveryGO App! I can definitely understand the concern with being unable to access features which are available with your subscription. I would be more than happy to provide some additional assistance with this.
Please let me the following ; when on the network's website/app you may be required to fill out a profile in order to stream. When prompted, are you selecting DIRECTV NOW or DIRECTV from the list of service providers and authenticate by using your account credentials?
Once I have this, I can research further.
I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hi there @dstefane,
Thank you for providing the information! Have you been able to login to the DIRECTV App with your credentials?
I would recommend resetting your password please review our eSupport article here on resetting your ID or password.
Please let me know how this goes!

How is resetting the password to an account going to correct the error. It is something in the browser not a users credentials. I hate the scripted answers you guys give as it does not do anyone any good. Next time figure out what the actual error is and provide the help to fix that, not the oh just reset your password B. S. The error the OP mentions has to do something with the cookies in the browser they are using. I had the same issue and had to use my phone's browser to log in. You may be able to add the site that you are trying to activate as whitelisted in your internet options that should allow the connect.

I too was having this same issue, it was driving me crazy. I tried everything and could not get it to work. I was going through ID withdraw! So after months of battling with this issue I got it to work tonight. I have a Directv account and tried the app on my Roku and Firestick and had the same issue with both. I used Microsoft Edge as the browser and it now works!! I hope this is helpful to a lot of people because I couldn't find any resolution on any message board that I went to. 🙂 It turns out it must be a browser issue and not an issue with Directv, Roku App or Firestick App.

I have an Iphone and a Iphone to HDMI adapter from Walmart. works GREAT on everything except the DISCOVERY GO app. All I can get on the HDMI output is AUDIO - the video shows up on the phone, but it just WON'T GO TO THE HDMI output. I have a dozen other TV apps that work just great, so I know it's not a Hardware issue. ANY SUGGESTIONS? I've rebooted the TV, The Phone, to no avail. Every other video streaming phone app works EXCEPT FOR DISCOVERY GO. It works ON THE PHONE, but ONLY AUDIO reaches the TV through the HDMI adapter. Suggestions??

I guess the Discovery Go App does not support streaming (Airplay) over HDMI. Not all Apps do. In fact, DirecTV's iPhone/iPad doesn't, either.
