Correct. The newer app currently has a bug that prevents it from working properly with DVR recordings. If you still happen to have the older app called ‘DIRECTV on the Go’ then downloading is still possible. The only requirements are model HR44 or above and that your device is connected to the same network as your receiver. After downloading the recordings in your home network, you will have 30 days to watch them until they expire.
