Failed to get city

When I go into the apps option in direcTV and select Weather I get the message "Failed to get city". It then goes to the weather channel weather. I prefer the weather I get from the app itself. It has been this way for a few weeks now. Anyone know if this is being worked on or if something is wrong with my connection?

Hi @Induncan,

 

We're here to help get your weather app back up and running. Try these steps listed below to troubleshoot the error you are getting.

  1. Refresh the receiver
  2. In the weather app, Press and hold “Local Weather” on top line.
  3. Confirm your zip code
  4. Select Edit my cities.
  5. Select Add a City.
  6. Input city name or 5-digit ZIP code using the on-screen keyboard.
  7. After the list populates, select a city.
    • Cities can be prioritized and/or deleted after being stored.
    • Customers can store up to five cities at once.
