With the DIRECTV app you can watch live content you subscribed to and recorded shows. If you haven’t already done so, make sure to download the newest version of the app and then complete the following:
Register your iPad to the Genie HD DVR. First time use must occur while device is connected to the same network as the set top box.
Tap Watch your DVR
Tap Get started
Input User name and password to verify account > Confirm
Follow on-screen instructions
Tap Ok, got it
Playlist for your DVR should load to your device
